What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger?

That's what they say. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. It just means all the challenges and problems that happen in your life can make you stronger. But the real question here is, is this saying true? Does it really make you stronger? Because if it is true, why do we feel hurt when those challenges and problems come? We do not feel stronger when problems are here with us. The pain are so real. We get down. We feel weak. So, how can it make us stronger when we just feel weak and down?

I found a thoughtful quote by Jax Teller from TV series "Sons of Anarchy". Here is what he said, "There's an old saying that which doesn't kill you makes you stronger, I don't believe that. I think the things that try to kill you make you angry and sad."

I also once read a statement from someone on internet: "I'm so sick and tired of people telling me the saying that it will make me stronger. I am angry, sad, pissed off, and in disbelief, and right now my situation does not make me feel like I'm stronger."

To be honest, this made me think again about the statement "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger". I always know this saying is true, but I also agree that I feel weak and get down when problems are around.

After thinking for a while, I finally got my own conclusion. Pain, anger, sadness, and disappointment are there when you are in the process. You feel like it is unfair. You are pissed off. That's all just because you are in the process. But process is not the endpoint.

I always believe problems and challenges are not there just to get you down and make you suffer. They are there to teach you so you can learn and grow. It can be challenging in the process. You don't feel comfortable because you are stretched into the better potential in you. It can be hard, but once the process is done and you see the result, you finally realize that everything you have been through would be really worth it.

Here is the thing. A problem is always bad when you look at the difficulties, but it is good when you look at how it changes you to better and stronger. When you know something bad happens for the better, you find happiness in your pain. But whatever it is, it always makes you stronger in the end. If you do not feel so, maybe you are still in the process.

Life's a climb, just don't get exhausted

If you don't know that Miley Cyrus' song, it's called The Climb . Well, they say life is all about the climb . I think this saying means that you just can't do nothing at where you're standing now if you want to go to a better place in your life. If you want to reach the peak, you must climb. If you don't climb, you'll just be at the same place forever. Everyone has different mountain. Everyone has different peak they want to reach. The same thing is, everyone starts from the bottom. So, everyone must climb. Some people climb for money. Some people climb for career. Some people climb for people they love. Some people climb for happiness. Whatever it is, they climb for something they want to reach that they still don't have now. It's funny how people compete each other to climb their best peaks. Some people want to reach there the fastest. Some people just want to reach the highest peak, no matter how long it takes. The climb is goo

Change the Perspective

One of people who inspire me the most is Nick Vujicic . I believe many of you know about this man. If you don't, well, he's a man with no arms and no legs. Although he has this disability, he still lives his life to the fullest. He swims. He surfs. He married. He does whatever he wants. Even he inspires many people around the world with great stories about his amazing life. Isn't he really a huge inspiration? I'm sure you know what I'm gonna write here. Many things we can learn from him, like being thankful, enjoying life, creating your happiness, or living the life you want no matter what the circumstance is. But I want to talk about his great life from a little bit different thing. He inspired me in one thing when I read his book. If there's one thing I can learn from him, it's that you can't always change your problems, but you can always change the way you see it . You can't always change your problems, but you can always chang
